Welcome to Bourne in Colour. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, regulations, and policies governing the booking and delivery of our colour analysis services. By booking an appointment with Bourne in Colour, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

"We," "Our," or "Us" refers to Bourne in Colour. "You," "Your," or "The Client" refers to the individual booking the service.

1. Bookings & Full Up-Front Payment

1.1 To secure a specific date and time slot in our studio calendar, full payment must be made at the time of booking via our secure online scheduling platform.

1.2 An appointment slot is not considered reserved or guaranteed until full payment has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation email has been issued to you.

1.3 The fee paid at booking covers the cost of your dedicated studio time, professional draping analysis, and the upfront procurement of your bespoke take-home materials (including your custom-selected full-size No7 lipstick and/or fabric swatch wallet).

2. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

2.1 We operate a strict 48-hour notice policy for all cancellations and rescheduling requests.

2.2 Rescheduling with more than 48 hours' notice: If you request a change to your date or time at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, your full payment balance will be transferred to your new booking date at no extra charge.

2.3 Late Cancellations & Rescheduling (Less than 48 hours' notice): If you cancel, request a reschedule, or modify your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of your total session price will be retained to cover administrative costs and lost studio time. The remaining 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.

2.4 No-Shows: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without any prior notice ("no-show"), your full payment will be forfeited, and no refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

3. Limited-Time Introductory Offers

3.1 All promotional "Introductory Offer" pricing tiers are strictly valid for analysis sessions completed on or before 30th November 2026.

3.2 If an appointment originally booked under the introductory offer is rescheduled—and the new appointment date falls after 30th November 2026—the client will be required to pay the difference to upgrade to our standard retail pricing tier before the session can take place.

4. Studio Location & Physical Accessibility

4.1 The Bourne in Colour studio is run from a professional, dedicated space within a private residential home in Salisbury, UK. The exact address and arrival instructions will be provided exclusively within your booking confirmation email.

4.2 Accessibility Constraints: The colour studio is located entirely on the first floor of the property and can only be accessed via a standard internal flight of domestic stairs. The property does not possess a passenger lift or wheelchair ramp.

4.3 It is the client’s sole responsibility to review these access parameters prior to booking. We cannot issue a full refund if a client arrives for their session and is physically unable to access the first-floor studio space. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us prior to booking to discuss options.

5. Client Preparation & Accuracy of Analysis

5.1 To achieve an accurate 16 sub-season colour reading, the client agrees to adhere strictly to the preparation guidelines provided on our website and in their confirmation email. This includes arriving with a completely clean, makeup-free face and ensuring no fresh or fading artificial fake tan is present on the face, neck, or chest.

5.2 While we will always endeavour to deliver an exceptionally high-standard analysis, arriving with makeup, tint, or fake tan directly interferes with natural skin undertones and may compromise the ultimate accuracy of your palette result.

6. Intellectual Property & Digital Materials

6.1 Any physical swatch wallets, digital seasonal palette files, or educational style guides provided to you during or after your session remain the intellectual property of Bourne in Colour.

6.2 These materials are provided strictly for your personal, non-commercial use to assist with your personal wardrobe and shopping choices. They must not be copied, redistributed, or resold for commercial styling purposes.

7. Modifications to Service

7.1 In the highly exceptional event that Bourne in Colour must cancel or reschedule your session due to illness, emergency, or severe weather, we will contact you immediately. You will be given the choice to transfer 100% of your payment to the next available date or receive a full, 100% refund. Our liability in such circumstances is strictly limited to the return of the fee paid at booking.
